One loan, start to lender.

Meet Robert Williams, buying in Norfolk with a VA loan. Here’s how his file got to underwriting.

New loan

Pick the loan. The checklist writes itself.

Choose VA and Cinch lists the 11 documents Robert’s loan needs, Certificate of Eligibility and DD-214 included. Conventional · Self-employed adds business returns and a P&L the same way.

Add-ons like gift funds will add their own documents. Coming soon

Illustration with example data: Cinch’s new-loan screen. A hand-typed needs list is replaced by Cinch’s checklist. With VA selected, Robert will be asked for 11 documents: Government-issued photo ID; Social Security card or W-2 with SSN; Most recent paystubs (covering 30 days); W-2s from the last 2 tax years; Federal tax returns (last 2 years, signed, all schedules); Bank statements (most recent 2 months, all accounts); Fully-executed purchase contract; Earnest money deposit receipt; Homeowner's insurance binder; and, added for VA, Certificate of Eligibility (COE); DD-214 (or Statement of Service if active duty). A gift funds add-on is coming soon.

Every page

Cinch will read every page., Coming soon

When a page is missing, Cinch will catch it and ask Robert for it — before you ever open the file.

Available now: press R, type the reason, and Robert sees exactly what to fix the next time he opens his link.

Illustration of a coming-soon feature, with example data: Robert’s 4-page bank statement arrives with pages 1, 2 and 4. Cinch will notice page 3 is missing, mark it Sent back, and ask Robert for it: Page 3 of 4 isn’t in the upload. Underwriting needs every page, even a blank one. Robert sends page 3, and the statement goes to your review list with all 4 pages.

Review

Approve with one key. Watch the strap close.

Every upload waits in one list. Press A to approve, R to send it back with a reason, or ⇧A to approve everything that’s ready — and undo if you change your mind. Robert’s strap fills as you go and buckles when the last document is approved.

A approves · R sends back · ⇧A approves everything ready

Illustration with example data: Robert Williams’s VA loan in the review list. Six documents need your review. Alex approves the paystubs and W-2s with the A key, then approves the tax returns, bank statements, earnest money receipt and insurance binder at once with Shift A. Every row turns to Approved, an Undo option appears, and the progress strap reads 11 of 11 approved with its buckle closed.

To the lender

Cinch will package the file for your lender., Coming soon

Cinch will export Robert’s application as a MISMO 3.4 file for your lender’s portal or LOS, and record the moment you mark the file sent. You choose where it goes — Cinch won’t submit anything on its own.

Available now: Download all puts every document on the loan in one zip, filed by category.

Security

Built for what’s at stake.

Mortgage borrowers hand you their financial life. Cinch was built to handle that the way a private bank does — not the way a SaaS handles a contact form.
